Open Boinc Manager.
Projects tab.
Select the Seti@Home project by clicking on it.
If you see a button on the left called "Resume", click it. It will change to "Suspend".

Else please leave the last 20 or so messages from your Messages tab. (Copy selected messages, post them here)

Check you preferences. Select 'YOUR ACCOUNT' on the black bar, at the top of the page. Then in the 'preferenecs' section, select the 'General' Link.

On the page you should see the question: 'Do work while computer is in use?'
If it is 'no', likely you will always see 'suspend' since you have to use the computer to check it.
If you want BOINC to always run, set the answer to 'yes'.

THanks, tried that but status still says "activities suspended" ??

It means suspended! :)

Check your menu Commands in Boinc Manager: Is it set to "Suspend"? If so, change it to "Run based on preferences" or "Run always".

About the 100%, the number is not EXACT, it is an approximation, so 99.510 would be shown as 100% but in fact would not be. It is due to rounding of the numbers. Also Boinc does not send the results right away and credits are delayed even further. Results are sent in according to your normal cache settings, when you need new units to crunch, the old units will be sent back. The credits in Boinc are not granted until there is a quorum of results received and they are within the statistical range necessary.

Well it gets to 100% then goes back to zero & starts again so I assume its gotten to '100'
The program has been supposedly running for 2 months but no results sent or new data downloaded

Maybe i will just delete the ptogram & quit while i'm ahead, why did they have to mess with it when it worked ok b4 ???

I have been a setiathome participant for several years and recently updated to the boinc software, everything seems installed and setup ok but everytime I start my computer I get the message' your version of setiathome is bsolete, please update to a new version now from boinc .... etc' ?
I uninstalled the original version when I upgraded and all my stats have been saved but altho the screensaver (new version) runs it doesnt actually seem to be doing any processing, ie when it gets to 100% nothing happens, it just restarts, no sending of data or downloading new data and no work unit increment....
What am I doing wrong ????
