I succeeded in removing the old version and installing the latest BOINC.
Now I can go back to my job with one less worry on my mind (^v^)

Use Microsoft's Installer Cleaner to get rid of the corrupt BOINC installation. It'll probably be at the top, having either no name or a corrupt name.

I don't know how I did it, but I lost the "BOINC.msi" file necessary to uninstall the old version of BOINC (4.43) I have currently installed in my Windows PC.
Can anyone tell me where I can find this file, or possibly give me a copy of it?
It should be found under the folder

C:\\WINDOWS\\Downloaded Installations\\{A23EDE75-4B4C-4A9F-B6A9-233D1C5F795A}\\
