How come, when I check "WORK", it typically tells me
it will take 5 hours to process a file, yet when I look at "Show Host Average" it shows 118.
Is there a disconnect, since 24hours/5 should be
about 5 a day, not 118. Where/how is this value calculated?
On SETI classic, I managed about 37,000 work units for all my systems over 6 years. BOINC says my "USER TOTAL" since early December is already well over 22,000. Again, what are these values?

Those are cobblestones.

Aren't you glad you asked?

Go to the Wiki, linked in my signature, and search on "Credit". You'll be amazed at the information there.
