When I put http://setiathome.berkeley.edu in the URL box, I get the message that seti is not a BOINC project. The same thing happens when I tried climateprediction.net. Thanks for your help. |

I think he's trying to attach to SETI. Please post your BOINC log here for analysis. |

I think he's trying to attach to SETI. Dear CNS }:O, IMHO the name Susan Thornsley sounds female :) |

Susan, please ignore the rabble... We're still trying to teach them what's left and what's not. ;) Please go to Your Account (Bookmark the place), then go to Change Password. Type in a password you like, with a minimum of 6 characters, then type it again. Then press the Change Password button at the bottom. Wait a minute or 2. Open Boinc Manager, Projects, Attach to Project, type in http://setiathome.berkeley.edu in the first window's box. Press Next. Select Use Existing Account. Type in your email address (same as which you used to register your account with) Type in the newly set password. Press Next. What happens? |

Susan, please ignore the rabble... We're still trying to teach them what's left and what's not. ;)I'm having the same problem. Did exactly what you suggested except that I waited all night and am still unable to connect. I have other projects running very well via BOINC but can't get SETI to connect. Just staring at my old credits, wondering when they'll be joined with the new ones. :) Thx much! Regards, Kory |
