I've been a Clasic SETI user for years and have had no problems. Now, Bionic is giving me a headache! When I click Attach to a Project, I enter http://setiathome.berkeley.edu The next screen that appears is Proxy Configuration. Franky, I have NO IDEA on what to enter. Please let me know so I can run Bionic. There should be simple instructions for non-geek types like me. Any of that form of help available? Stan |

FAQ here If you're doing this from home, you probably don't have a proxy server so you don't need to worry about it. I hope you did a search of these boards to know that S@H is offline right now and not sending out any work units. |

I've been a Clasic SETI user for years and have had no problems. Now, Bionic is giving me a headache! Seti is having problems right now, so give things time. Also make sure you firewall is set to let Boinc run. Firewall Settings: Go to Control panel, Windows firewall, then the exceptions tab and then the add program button. Add these two programs to the exceptions. Boinc.exe BoincMgr.exe |
