Although there is a problem with current ul/dl sitution, looking through your previous posted messages I noticed it shows a connection failure and then further on down and error code 0f 500.

If you are using version 5.x of BOINC, there is a know problem of some people having a problem with those errors. Me, for example. I had to re-install version 4.

If those 500 errors persist, I might surjest try using version 4, and see if that helps.

i am still not able to download any files, is this ok or could it be that my computer is not able to connect through my router... i have had problems with the router before...

relax......The ul/dl server took a dump last Sunday morning, it's up now. Downloads are happening, but it takes a while to get a connection. Uploads are even slower. Read the front page, and tech news. It's getting better each day.

i just recently downloaded boinc manager and i setup my seti account but when it tries to go and downlad the file to check it gets hung up and will not download the file... i am using cable internet however i am connecting to the internet through a router... could this be the problem, or do you have any suggestions as to what i should try... my computer has been trying to download the files for about 3 hours and it is still not working...

this is what i get each time it tries to download
