I have a couple of machines set up running BOINC and SETI@home2. They have been running a bit over 12 hours now. How often do the machines automatically report the WU's that are in status "Ready to report"? If I update the project manually, reporting seems to happen, but otherwise no machine has reported ready units.

Automatic reporting generally happens when more work is requested, or 6 hours prior to the WUs expiration date. Whichever comes first.

So don't worry, they'll be picked up eventually if not manually reported. :)

You will find them on your accounts page, under "pending credit".

How do you "manually report"???

I use a modem, and leave my machine running (offline) overnight.
I accumulate several workunits overnight.
How do I "send in" my workunits next time I connect?

(It says transfer will retry in 2hours 15min, etc....)

I don't want it to wait 2hours 15min!

Under the "projects" tab in the GUI, right click on the project name and select "update". This will manually report any WUs that are completed. Also, if you don't want to wait for the transfer, same deal. Right click on update. Or, if you have transfers pending in the transfer tab, right click and select "retry now".
