Some very nice graphs can be found at Team OcUK

Number of active users:

Total RAC:

The number of active users has increased by 50% right now. Since these users have been active at classic, they'll probably be active here, too.

if you look at the other projects, many of them seem to be enjoying a boost as well.

If we agree that the number of granted credit is on par with the amount of work done, then no, there is no real increase yet:

It's just a bit above average.

But if you look at it now, there is a definate upswing in credit perday.
And here is toast to our new crunchers.

98SE XP2500+ @ 2.1 GHz Boinc v5.8.8

And God said"Let there be light."But then the program crashed because he was trying to access the 'light' property of a NULL universe pointer.

don't forget that work has to be validated etc. before it "counts"

edit: removed graph

It's just a bit above average.

In par but delayed. Expect it to start shooting up about a week after the # of hosts started jumping.

if you look at the "in progress" numbers for the past week here, you'll see a gradual increase.

Certainly is nice to see all the new users.

But is it reflected in the amount of work being done?

This would be a much better measure of of users who have sucessfully installed BOINC and attached to SETI rather than those who only got as far as the activte account web page.

Well, since only users with credit shows up in the stats you know they've successfully joined SETI@Home/BOINC.

If you go and look at Willy's BOINCStats and look at the chart for credits/day over last 60 days. It shows that the credits for the last two days exceed all except two othersout of the last 60days, excluding the 15th Sept as no results recorded for 14th. So I'm assuming the trend is upwards, but time will tell.

I'd like to point out that seti boinc was going along averaging about 650 new users each day, and now has added 15000 new users in the last 3 days!

I'd say it is going well, given the true volume of new users, and the mods quickly released to address the proxy and socks pox! That should ease issues with future switches. Well done!

Alas, it appears we are still on the upswing of an exponential curve of new users!

http://www.boincstats.com/stats/project_graph.php?pr=sah

Any guesses what the max users/day will be???

:)

Good work everybody.

Don
