I have a computer with 2 real CPU (so 4 with HT), but only 50% of the system is in use. Before BOINC, I used the command line SETI@Home, but now with BOINC I can't find that. That would be usefull for me to use my computers à 100% of their capabilities. So for the moment, I use BOINC and old command-line to use my full calculation possibilities, but I prefer using the same program at the same time. Thanks for your answers. |

you must go to "your account", http://setiathome.berkeley.edu/home.php edit general preferences http://setiathome.berkeley.edu/prefs.php?subset=global edit preferences - change On multiprocessors, use at most 2 processors to say FOUR (4) processors |

On this website go to "Your account" --> Preferences --> General --> View or edit general preferences. At the bottom of that page choose "Edit preferences", go to "Processor usage" and at "On multiprocessors, use at most" change the value to 4. Click on "update preferences". After that, open Boinc Manager, go to the tab "Projects", select the project "Seti@Home" and use the button "Update". Once this done, Boinc should use your 4 CPU's. Read the News at the homepage Have a look at the Technical News Look if your question is not answered at the Boinc Wiki Best greetings, Thierry |

That's now Ok. All my CPU's are working now. I've already modify this information yesterday, but maybe it was because this computer were installed before this modification, I can't remember. I forced an update and now this finaly works like it should. Thank you. |
