Problem is in "View or edit Seti@home preferences" not profile. There is no browse button. The blank will not accept a file off the hard drive or url on the net. Pics I tried were 30K jpg from both on the web and on my drive.

The update preferences button will not save those changes. The screen saver shot does not update forced or not and returning to the preferences page shows the blanks empty of the data I had put in there. Other preferences choices do save.

In 'profile' it says:
click the "Browse" button and select a JPEG or PNG file (50KB or less).

In 'forum preferences' it says (for an avatar):
Forced size of 100x100 pixels
format: jpg/png - size: at most 4k

So: No typing of an URL, but prepare the picture and then upload.
