I see that the notice that used to be posted on the Server Status Page saying that there would be weekly Wednesday outages for backups has been removed. Does this mean that somehow, equipment was found to mirror production once again, and that there will not be a continuing need for weekly outages for backups? |

Does this mean that somehow, equipment was found to mirror production once again, and that there will not be a continuing need for weekly outages for backups? I noticed it has been gone for a few weeks now, but magically appears Wednesdays just before the outage happens. On the status page, about the time they added the "xml available" message, the outage message disappeared. |

I noticed too. it only NOW shows up on wednesdays...usually just prior to the outage. Okay, it is now Wednesday, a little after 17:00 UTC, and no sign of an outage for a backup. That's good, of course, if some other means of backups has been implemented; but we haven't heard about it. Anybody know anything about this? Or is Matt's vacation negating the backup? |

I'm having trouble uploading and downloading work today (Wednesday). Is it just me? |

Weekly outages. Thats why you cannot upload/download work. And yes the weekly outages message WAS there on the server status page. Most servers are back up with the exception of 3. 6:06pm eastern USA "By faith we understand that the universe was formed at God's command, so that what is seen was not made out of what was visible". I'm having trouble uploading and downloading work today (Wednesday). Is it just me? No, it's because of the scheduled outage. As I type, the scheduler is still disabled. One of the splitters and the feeder currently aren't working, but I expect the scheduler will be switched back on soon. |

You can still peek in here to see what the various servers and daemons have been up to recently. |
