HI !!!!
I’m very interested in distributed computing and I find the platform BOINC something like a “revolutionary” idea for the development, in the future, of a great number of computer programs aimed to resolve every kind of problem. Now there are many projects in the alpha and pre-alpha stage !! and many more are in the declared intention state.

But I think that people is not only interested in number crunching or to compete for a higher credit number!!
Many people is also interested in the scientific aspect and in the development of the research, particularly in the near future: how long will it last ?, when there will be a new major release (= a new aspect of the scientific research), future announcements and so on ?
In other words, I think is really very important that in the home page of every project there will be a link to something like a GANTT diagram with a brief explanation of each phase of the project, to be updated, may be, every three or more months.
In the SETI@home classic there was a page about future developments, but now nothing at all in every project !!!
What do you think about this proposal: is it possible ?? is too much demanding for the project leader ?? or critical for the existence of the project itself ?? or whatever else ??
