Oh Raven , what a wonderful link ! The Tiger Island ! It was fabulous , you know i'm a lover of felins in general, from cats to tigers, lions, etc . Once i was in Africa , living with a scientists group doing researches on felins. I became friend with 3 lions, and 2 tigers, with lions it's a bit different , but with tigers i used hypnotic procedures, and they were with me as inoffensive as street cats. With lions you can establish real friendship, but tigers are very independant like cats, and we should always respect their independance. Unfortunately my experience didn't last long and i was obliged to come back at home .

Just curious where you found tigers in Africa????

I don't doubt for a second that Miss Ariane has used hypnotic powers on tigers in Africa! And it goes without saying that it's not the tigers in the zoo's there, I'm talking about!

Waiter! No matter what that that lady is getting, don't serve it to me!!!

"He who rides a tiger is afraid to dismount."

The full quote, attributed to Winston Churchill, is:

Despots ride tigers from which they are afraid to dismount - and the tigers are getting hungry.

Sometimes a good and skillful rider of tiger , has always something in his pocket to fill up the hunger of the tiger. And sometimes a witch rider of tiger, casts some spell to distray the hunger of the tiger , while dismonting it.

Yup. Just remember not to keep the steak for the tiger in your pants pocket.

I think I just won't try and ride tigers. There is this place, however, in case you just can't help but get close to tigers.

Liebe Fuzzy ,

Grusssssssssssss

Uh oh, Ariane, I am really not so good at German to understand Herman Hesse in his original language! So English please!!!

I understand Soren Kierkegaard in his original language though! ;-)

But you're wellcome about the Fortune Coffee! I hope you see something nice. I didn't the last time I looked though! :-(

Hej, Fuzzy , God eftermiddag !

Det var roligt alt traffas , jag talar lite Svenska , I thought that Danish language might have some familiarity with Swidish , i don't know , anyway jag ska beratta for dig : that Soren Kierkegaard is one of my favorite philosopher. You know why ? Although Kierkegaard is best explained in Philosophical Fragments (Climacus and his Ladder to Paradise) , but when he begin it by Plato's philosophical enigma , he's fabulous : based on Socrates, when we're able to distinguish the true and the false response, its because we knew the true response Before.
Plato and Socrates believed that one in fact don't learn something new, but he/she had already the principle of knowledge in him/her , and what we learn is in reality nothing but the reminiscence of true knowledge we have in ourselves. and Kierkegaard believed so ...

Vi ses senare,
Ha det riktigt bra

P.S. I see in Fortune Coffee , very nice things for you !

It's very noisy in here. What's all the shouting about? ....

Es99, it's because Capatain Avatar has just got his new hearing aid and it's apparently not working right!

So maybe we have to shout to him some more!
