I recently had some problems uploading finished WU's when I was running BOINC Manager ver 4.25, so it was suggested I update to version 4.45, which I did. I still can't upload WU's but now I can't access the WWW when Boinc is running (even in suspended mode)Hmmm! I must exit the program(boinc Manager) completely, then open my browser. It doesn't matter if I using IE or Firefox.

I think I've narrowed the problem down abit. It seems when I'm running The Boinc Manager I lose my client IP address to the wireless. It will show up as Address 000.000.0.0 instead of the normal 192.168.xx.xx. When I close Boinc the wireless re-aquires the IP. I'm more confused now than I was before. I'm going to try disabling the screensaver. |

I've disabled the screensaver on the Boinc Manager(ver4.45) and everything seem to be functioning properly. I'm still baffled by this. Why does the Boinc screensaver cause me to lose my client IP address on my wireless? How does the screensaver interfer with the AP's operation? Oh well, it's working and that's all I need! lol |
