Under Windows, I use the 2 programs, BoincLogX to log the data and SETI@Home-MapView to view it. You will need a similar setup. Others have pointed out where you can find them.

For Linux I often use KBoincSpy for KDE which as well as doing BOINC control and SETI logging, has a star chart built in for SETI. There are several other programs that can log SETI data and/or control BOINC.

These are just personal recommondations but they work for me.

Edit spelling, added Linux

Check the add-ons link on the front page. I think there is a mapping program compatible with the BOINC version of seti in there somewhere.

on whose front page? I've checked the seti@home site and didn't see as well as BONICWIKI. On the old site I knew where to look But I can't find it here. if you have any more info please let me know or if anyone else can answer this question better please do so.

Whoops that link seems to have gone. I couldn't find it either. Sorry the last time I looked at it was before the format with the dark bars.

I rember under the old seti@home, that I downloaded a star chart that pinpointed the exact spot I had crunched numbers for. I would like to see that feature returned and was wondering if anyone was currently working on making a new star chart. One that might even show the amount of hydrogen in the complete area that seti has looked at so far. Just an idea I really did like that chart.
