Cyrix is even worse, do the math. :) Cyrix chips (especially the late models) were manufactured by IBM and ran very hot. It will be used to write documents and surf the web. Now should I resurrect the Intel P233 MMX or Cyrix MII 300 GP? I am thinking of running Predictor on it and maybe Orbit. Spec: Intel P233 MMX or Cyrix MII 300 GP 128Mb ram win 98se Go for the Pentium. Cyrix chips rank even lower than the original AMD K6 and K6-2 processors in terms of the FPU. A 233mhz Pentium crunches Seti at about the same speed as a 350mhz K6-2...and if Cyrix is even worse, do the math. :) You will be assimilated...bunghole! ID: 161557 ·
