But I think my memory must be going because I keep forgetting where I put some things...

I think they call it "Hereafter": I walk into a room & try to remember what I came in here after... ;-)

Everything is always in the same place, that way, if I go blind, I can find something right were it belongs, always.... >:-) (-:<

I wish my stuff had somewhere to belong.

....

You speak it brother.

I've been in my michigan house for months performing mechanical repairs, painting, electrical service upgrades, painting, pouring concrete, painting, placing new steps, painting, did I mention painting, pressure washing, installing trim that was neglected, etc etc etc. She came up for 2 weeks to help "polish" up the place.

Now where would you think the most logical place for glasses might be?? yep, that's right. Right next to the fridge where the Ice comes from and the cola is stored. Well, by that night, the glasses had magically moved to the farthest cabinet from that location.

Just one of the reasons that I live blissfully by myself. Everything is always in the same place, that way, if I go blind, I can find something right were it belongs, always.... >:-) (-:<

i'm with you Siran, on the blissfullness of living single...but if i go blind...i'll be in big trouble...my house is a messy catastrophe.

I've been enjoying the peace & quiet since my daughter moved out. :-) I'm still cleaning up messes she left :-( But I think my memory must be going because I keep forgetting where I put some things...

The same thing happens when you and your wife move into a new home. You do all the lifting and moving.. while she starts putting away the small stuff. Now everything is out of place. Her stuff is easily accessible while your stuff is "lost".

I'm not sure the bliss applies equally to both parties however.

Ahh, the bliss of married life!

But be happy she hid the beer! Else you wouldn't have them today when you really were craving for a beer! ;-)
