Sig? What sig? Thank God for Adblock! Adblock is the single most useful helper app ever created. :D And you can build quite powerful filters if you are into regular expressions (regex) at all. Edit: Oh, and if you want a list of premade filters to block just about every adbanner known to man, Filterset.G maintains a nice list. |

Thank you, Jord. And since you were the intended audience, I guess the joke was a success. :) Hey Jim, don't you know that Vulcans have no sense of humor? >:-) (-:< CAPT Siran d'Vel'nahr XO - L L & P _\\// USS Vre'kasht NCC-33187 Winders 10 OS? Yes, it was a bit facetious. I was just trying to have a little fun and not take these boards so seriously. What I did was exactly what i would have expected from any of my co-workers or friends if I had started a thread like this. To me, if done in this context it would have meant they have enough respect for me to know that I can take a joke and roll with the punches. Cool! I thought it was, that was why I used the word "facetious", and not some other, much more harsh, a word. My respect remains intact, but then, it was never really lost anyway.... Oh, the tiny little smilies that you and others use, ie: ':)' or ';)', are a bit hard to spot while reading. that's why I created my own: '>:-) (-:<', not hard to spot since they stick out like a black bear in the Arctic.... >:-) (-:< CAPT Siran d'Vel'nahr XO - L L & P _\\// USS Vre'kasht NCC-33187 Winders 10 OS? actually, he did reply to it, he just put his reply inside the quote section, so it looks as if his reply was part of the quote. So, he's not only posting redundant information on all boards, he's also posting unreadable posts! LOLLL!! "I'm trying to maintain a shred of dignity in this world." - Me

With the blue line it is easier to skip past the quoted text. You can always go back and use it for reference if you need to. |

What about this post? Just clicking on "Reply to this post" and then "Post reply", what's the point in that? It's not even edited! I just don't get it!! "I'm trying to maintain a shred of dignity in this world." - Me

Thank you, Jord. And since you were the intended audience, I guess the joke was a success. :) I'm glad to know you are able to take some ribbing when it is called for (unlike some "unnamed Vulcan" LOL) If it helps, you had me laughing, Jim. :) |

Why taunt a person by doing a 180 on his suggestion[s]? I would expect to see this type behavior from azwoody or some other inept user, but not you. |
