Unless you are using a computer with hyperthreading or more than one CPU it makes no sense to run several instances.

BOINC will in any case take all free capacity, so there is no waste.

Just have a look at your task manager while BOINC is running: Idle process is on 0% while BOINC (the project BOINC is working on, to be precise) receives something like 98% or 99%.

I have a computer which is always on, with lots of capacity.

Can I run more than one instance of BOINC on this computer? It seems like a waste of capacity if I can't.
