70 songs he wrote, and rarely one that was not really funny ...

I really like his list of elements... I mean, who else could put the periodic table of elements to music and make it sound good?

:)

Oh, and Isveztia says "it stinks ... " :)

Not only that ... it is now in the Wiki ... I research from everyone ...

Research being a term applided to unrepentant word stealer ... :)

Many, Many, Many months ago, I seem to remember someone saying this or something similar. I don't get the credit, but I can't remember who did either.

Tom Lehrer. ... but please to call it research.

I'm finding that under the "Messages" tab in the BOINC manager only a word and maybe a letter or two of the next word is showing up in the individual messages. I can't figure out how to view the messages in full. Anybody know how I can fix this? Thanks.

Or, you can just hold your mouse above the message. Or, you can copy the message into a word processor.

That's a great analogy! Thanks mm~, makes more sense now. And others...I appreciate the help also. Best 73 all 'round.

yeah, I guess it was. I never really looked around though. Doing so now at this thread means I'm "RACing" up credits faster than everyone who has posted so far, but Matt Davis has more miles/credits. This is probably due to the addition of a new puter 8 days ago.

Think of total credit like your cars Odometer. It tells you how many miles you've driven. Think of RAC like your speedometer. You're driving faster than some or slower than some. Some have driven more miles and some less

Check out the WIKI

One other question, if you will, that is perplexing me. I see Matt has been credited 72,185, according to the info I see on this screen and Heffed has 34,580. Myself, I have 2,423 and yet, my RAC is higher than Heffed's and approaching Matt's. Why is this, or more apropos: what does RAC truly mean?

It seems to me that if a person has higher credit, ergo; the score is higher. I think I'm missing something. Any help? Tnx ;)

See the vertical lines between the headings TIME, MESSAGE, and PROJECT? Click and drag them to the right :)

The quickest thing to do is double click the right margin in the header. It will expand the field to the longest message.

I've found that the only way to save little settings like that is to go to FILE then EXIT if you have to close BOINC. If you just restart the computer then little settings like that won't save.

At least, that's been my experience.
