What? No "Rocky Horror"-ists? tsk, tsk, tsk...

Since inter-session classes start tomorrow, I decided to spend a day lounging about in the Café.

So... Who's gettin' the popcorn and beer for STS-114?

Go and get your Rocky Horror yourself! Nobody here knows it so well as you do anyway!

Beer and popcorn served!

You'll have to watch the launch by yourself, as I'll go for now! See you later!

Those Saturn radio recordings reminds me of the sound effects from the classic scifi movie Forbidden Planet.

looks like that big fan would suck the dust right off the PC as well.

Good morning Dan! I didn't think about the dust. Probably so.... But, if you look at the fan, it would spin clockwise, thus BLOWING the dust off the PC.

I like to keep a fan blowing at the front of my PCs. They sit under my table and the hot air blown out of them would accumulate under it. The fan would force cooler air, under the table, effectively dissipating the hot air.

since you're a vulcan of great ingenuity...i'm counting on you to find a way to make the fan blow counter-clockwise Siran.

[Smart-ass mode: ON]
That fan is designed for only one airflow direction, the direction toward the camera. If that fan were to be made to spin counter-clockwise, the airflow efficiency would be greatly reduced, because of the shape of the fan blades. Hence, it's illogical to make that fan spin counter-clockwise....
[Smart-ass mode: OFF] >:-)

(to be read with the voice of WILLIAM SHATNER in your head)

well Siran...find us a fan that will blow counter-clockwise...Kirk out.

I happen to have a dual-fan in my window right now. With the flip of a switch, for each fan, they can be made to spin clockwise/counter-clockwise. But.... The fan blades are designed for equal airflow in either direction. >:-) Ok, next.... What shall I find for you now....? >:-)

Siran...start with finding me a quiet beach where i can spend the next couple of weeks relaxing...and if there are any ORION girls in the sector...send out an invitation for one or more of them to join me...and last...but not least...find me some more romulan ale...that should do it Siran...Kirk out.

Ok....:

Here's the:

and here's:

and lastly:

How's that....?

great Siran...just great...now just let me know when we reach transporter range...Kirk out.

After all the cruising around the galaxy, I'm pooped.... Time for a power nap.... Went to bed at 2:30 this morning and got up at 6:00. I just can't sleep past 6:00 in the morning.... L8R....
