- Since 1999 I completed more than 1600 SETI units. - I joined SETI Netehrlands and installed BOINC. - I activated the claasic to BOINC account. - When the screen saver is turned on: I see correctly my inlog name but I see that the complete units are ZERO? -> What am I doing wrong? -> I would like to see that BOINC is counting from 1600 units in stead of zero? Hij and welcome @Boinc Onno, Your data are this: SETI@home member since 2 Jun 1999 So nothing is lost, but the counting system has changed. As you can see, you've got 39.34 credits for your first 2 WUs, and that's a bit incompatible for a simple further count ;) Snapshots of the number of crunched WUs were taken at the start of Boinc, and another one in March 05. A last one will be taken, when Classic will stop (or soon after that). As there is no direct link between the two statistics databases of Classic and Boinc, an automatic actualisation is impossible (or at least too much effort for the meager time/money budget of the Berkeley crew). For the details of the transition from Classic to Boinc look here. The (very good) manual for Boinc is the BOINC Powered Projects Documentation by Paul D. Buck and the BoincWiki therein. For information regarding Credits look here or here! Gruesse vom Saenger For questions about Boinc look in the BOINC-Wiki |
