It was set to 10 minutes so changed it to never and had no problem since(touch wood). I forgot that a new piece of hardware resets the power management for monitors. Will add new machine to Seti, when broadband is up and running. ID: 132494 ·

If you go to "Control panel" then "Display" then select the "screen saver" tab. Then where it says monitor power press the "power" button. My drop down boxes are set to "Always On" and "never" "never" "never". ID: 132400 ·

"Displays"? "Power Management"?). Make sure that your monitor's standby mode is correct. If it goes off too soon, you'll get no screensaver because the CPU stops sending the video signal(s). I have just added a new machine and upgraded my monitor to TFT. I am networking and switching between computers so have a switch to do this. It says that there is no signal after awhile.
