What????? my althonxp 2200+ with 4.18 takes 7:45 /wu, Maybe he should contact me. Yeah, I know, OC'd with Optimized client, but even so.....sheesh. Something freaky with that. Or with mine.

tony

I had for problem diagnosis an athlon xp running at 1600 Mhz from a friend, and with the cc 4.19 and science app 4.09 did a WU in about 4H30min to 5Hrs (it was exclusively doing boinc, nothing else)!

My P4 3.2GHz Prescott with HT on does a wu in 1hr45min on each cpu. So that's really 2 in 1hr45min (some are shorter and some are longer - you know the angle range of the wu thingy). I suppose I should say that the machine is oc'd to about 3.7GHz and is using the optimised seti application.

Live long and crunch.

My P4 3.2 with Ht enabled dos 2 WU Ranging from 1hr30 - 1hr50 and it isn´t overcloked and ofcourse this results are with the optimized science app!

Without the optimization 2hrs30 to 3hrs10

i do a wu in 2h 14min is that good or bad for a amd 3200+ xp pro

One WU takes usually something between 2 and 2,5 hour on my AthlonXP (Barton) 2500+

So not bad, but not even great, I think
