Not really. I'm lousy at plumbing. Granted NA had by far the worst day of all (any day that has a visit to a lawyer automatically wins worst day award in my book). The rest of my day yesterday was a bunch of little annoying things that went wrong, many of which did nothing more than cost money to fix or replace. Today seems to be going much better at least. I hope everyone else's is good as well.

The paints on, the brushes/rollers cleaned. I said to heck with it and made 1/2 pot of coffee and I'm about to sip the first O the cup. The paint needs to skin over a bit before I dare mount the commode.

I gotta get to painting.

Well this day is starting out well. Let's see so far. Light bulb burned out in the bathroom while taking a shower do had to finish up in the dark, burned my hand, broke my favorite coffee mug, flat tire on my pickup, every clock in the place except the computer clock is flashing 12:00 and there's still many more hours left in the day...

I feel for you. Last nite I finished sanding some joint compound in my ONE bathroom. By 11 PM I was trimming in with the shellac based primer. I stood on the toilet seat to reach into the corner, and the porcelain tank cracked. It poured water onto my newly installed linoleum and subfloor. It leaked into the basement that I had pressure washed over the last several days. It WAS on it's last day of drying, before I could primer and paint the walls and floor.

This morning (no toilet). I removed it and looked into why the tank cracked. Turns out the contractor who installed it in 1998 placed the closet flange 11 1/2" from the wall instead of 12". Also, he dropped the 3/8 flex line through the floor to the shut off valve, rather than extending the pipe through the floor and then installing a valve.

Went to Menards (home depot or lowes type place), bought pipe, new flange, couplings, glue, primer, screws, Toilet. Spent the rest of day repiping the water supply. Cutting into the main sewer line. opened the hole in the floor 1/2" further from the wall. remounted closet flange and couplers. Oh yeah, since the main sewer was moving I had to shorten the sewer pipe run to the shower. Now the new toilet has a different sized tank and so I had to sand down 70 years of paint off the wall to feather it back in.

I Primered the rest of the bathroom. 1 hour ago I painted the baseboard, window, and door moulding. Now I'm letting it dry a little before I trim paint the walls and then roll them. Then and ONLY then can I remount my beloved and much missed, new toilet. It's now 2:11 in the MORNING for crying out loud, and I'm feeling some motion down there. I gotta get to painting.

Damn this is definitely wrong.. 25 CRITICAL Updates and counting...
And that's after SP1 (I refuse to install SP2, since some JPG images just crash Office...)
