I have the old SETI and downloaded the new Boinc should I uninstall the old SETI? they are both running on the computer.
You want SPAM and eggs?

You don't have to uninstall classic seti, but don't run classic and BOINC at the same time. They don't play well together.

Classic Seti has to be removed as by joining Boinc your old Seti account will be transferred. Also they will both be trying to use the spare processing power on your PC and only one will get it.

They can play together but the "problem" is that Seti 1 will get in first the spare processing power and then Boinc so your wus will be really longer.

Do you want to get banned for 31 years and your account & credits deleted at a Boinc project ? Predictor@home is your best choice.
