I voted for Bush. I fully support the war and the troops. Heck, I can even think of a couple other countries that could use a little more Freedom. (syria, north korea, and Iran come quickly to mind). I placed my butt at risk by "Volunteering" to serve in the US army, so I have a unique perspective. I can't understand why some people think that the government will do a better job spending their money than they can. In my business I was continually improving operations by buying new gear. This money spent went to another business which can use it to buy new gear, and employ more people. If I gave it to the government, then they'd pocket some, give some to the Needy, give even more to people who are scamming the system, give to the pork projects, provide a worthy military, and the few cents that are left get used for something that helps me. The needs of the many outweigh the needs of the few. |

Now, how about those wacky conservatives over at Free Republic? Freeper 1 I think George W. Bush is the greatest thing since voter disenfranchisement. Freeper 2 You can say that again! I can't wait for him to declare marshall law and deport anyone who doesn't agree with his ultra-conservative agenda. Freeper 3 Hey everyone, I just painted a giant American flag on the the side of my house. I sure hope others are offended by my superficial and hollow display of patriotism. Freeper 4 That's really cool, Freeper 3. You know, I'm so blindly enamored of President Bush that I just renamed my fourteen-year-old twin daughters W1 and W2. Freeper 3 That's great Freeper 4, but doesn't W2 sound an awful lot like WW2? Freeper 4 No problem - I love war! Freeper 5 Me too, Freeper 4! So, what's everyone doing this weekend? Freeper 3 Well, I live in a so-called 'red state' area, so I plan to oppress people who simply want to pursue peaceful alternative lifestyles. Freeper 5 What a coincidence - that's exactly what I'm doing! Those crazy Freepers - they really crack me up! |

Hi. I like Bush, and I think the war in Iraq is justified. Well, I didn't want anyone to have to dig through the old Political Thread to see my political stance. I didn't mean to anger anyone. |

New Poll: Bush Job Approval Dips to New Low When it comes to public approval, President Bush and Congress are playing "how low can you go." . "The sheer dishonesty of the Bush administration whenever it speaks about the situation in Iraq was on display again during Bush's Tuesday press conference with visiting British Prime Minister Tony Blair. In recent weeks Bush has repeatedly expressed wild optimism, utterly unfounded in reality, about the political process in Iraq and about the ability of the new Iraqi government and army to win the guerrilla war. He has if anything been outdone in this rhetoric by Vice President Dick Cheney. This pie-in-the-sky attitude, which increasingly few believe, degrades our civic discourse, and it endangers the national security of the United States." "The Revenge of Baghdad Bob" This can't be seen as helping matters much... |

Bush is more concerned about getting his oil than the millions of poor in Africa who starve and he as the leader of one of it not the greatest leading political powers does little to help also he cares more about his oil than global warming which is one of the major causes of global warming; the combustion of fossil fuels...i cba to go on cuz omeones probably said it before and im lazy but you get the drift of what im trying to say randomthoughts: I glide upon the evening and dance upon the dawn with Sirius asmy guide and Canopus asmy friend Some fear the dark but with friends like Orion,Cygnus and Andromeda one needs no fear To me nature was mute, until i saw the stars |

Hi. I like Bush, and I think the war in Iraq is justified. And I also (humbly) did not mean to offend. If I did, then I offer my most sincere apologies. It's just that I have been watching the fora and knew that a storm would brew. And also that a thread would grow very large and angry given the subject matter. I was trying to be flippant and failed. Please forgive me. You have your views and I am with Voltaire with regards to them. Sorry Tom. Best wishes and Regards Tony (blushes with embarrassment and shame) I may be getting older but I refuse to grow up! |

Btw, Paul, why don't you tell us all what YOU think? Even worse, when confronted with what these links say, Pauly-poo tends to deny that he agrees with them. So, his posts just fall in the category of Spam (unsolicited, worthless, all the things about Spam that makes it repulsive). If he's trying to inform or convince, his method is pretty poor, but it may be that his purpose is simply to irritate . . . |

The originator of this thread will not spawn the immediately succeeding thread. The original originator? I resemble that remark. Quit talking about me. MISFIT FOR PREZ - 2008 Paulie Poop will be my chief of staff cuz all his BS will blind the masses of my wrongdoings! I'll need the human smokescreen! The thicker the better! ........ ZimmpleBrain does not possess any 'real' thoughts of his own. That's why he refuses to debate his point of view or beliefs. He only has the capacity to link to crap on the web. Don't hold your breath, thinking you'll get a reply from him in his own words, you'll turn as blue as my eyes before that happens. >:-) CAPT Siran d'Vel'nahr - L L & P _\\// Winders 11 OS?
