And with tigher's mania for starting trivial threads, well, he had to come up with something people bothered to post in, just to see his own name! All you gotta do is quit posting in it.... Besides, whoever said that "chit-chat" belongs in the cafe? There's "chit-chat" in probably every thread of the fora. EDIT: Then again, this is the Cafe.... Ok the make's Patriot (which id nva heard of) and il write down what it says on the label nxt to the touchpad....( bear in mind i dont understand it so i dont know if this is what ya after) Clock frequency is the numbers of clock cycles your processor do per second. May I step in here? What she's got is one of the so called VIA C3 CPUs. They are greatly optimised for saving power and such. But for crunching WU, in short, forget about it. I've got such a beast, after playing around a bit, I decided to build a digital video recorder from it. Cause they won't consume much power, you can do passive cooling, without a fan. Yes, it actually hard to understand, **fi**! Your computer is a CentaurHauls VIA Nehemiah, which I've never seen before, so what is your experience with it? What brand is it? I see it's quite slow, what's it's clock-frequency? And how does XP SP2 run on it? You see, my computer is a GenuineIntel, Intel(R) Pentium(R) 4 CPU 2.80GHz with XP SP2, and it's quite fast. My processor takes about 13,530.98 sec's to process a Seti WU, where the only WU, you got credit for, took 83,424.27 sec's to finish. So I'm quite curious how XP runs on your computer.
