....

....

....

....

.... So I'll just keep my XP.

I've had some probs with the BOINC v4.35 lately, so I just uninstalled it and got v4.19 back and there's no probs now.

Good luck with BSD.

I had parts left over from when I built my other PC so I just put everything together and got this one running. I had WinME and decided to look into Linux.

I'm still using BOINC v4.25 on my WindozeXP PC and still trying to get BOINC to run properly on BSD.

I can definitely see why Micro$oft has the PC and OS markets tied up. Software installation is very straight forward. With Linux you need to be a rocket scientist to figure out the installation. Oh well....

It's fori, not fora.

fo-ra. Alternate plural of forum.
fori is not a word listed in my 1920 page Websters Dictionary.

Sorry, but needed to set the record straight. For I knew I used the right [correct] word.

Yes, my beloved Websters says the same thing. WEBSTERS, THE TRUE DICTIONARY.

Hey Alex, How are you dude? I've been busy with something new. Just look at my sig [if you're not hiding them]. I got rid of WinME and installed FreeBSD v5.4 in its place.

Been trying to get BOINC to work. Got it to communicate with SETI but it didn't send some info that SETI needed. But, at least I was able to get communication going, so far. I'm determined to get BOINC running and crunch for SETI on something other than Windoze.

I'm pretty good Siran. I had to turn back on the signatures to see the sig cuz of the board changes. I turned the sigs on for a bit just to see it. It looks nice. Hmm BSD, sounds intersesting, and I thought of maybe trying out another OS as well, but I only have one puter and way too much data that I don't want to move around. So I'll just keep my XP.

I've had some probs with the BOINC v4.35 lately, so I just uninstalled it and got v4.19 back and there's no probs now.

Good luck with BSD.

Where are you coming up with these non-existant words.

My imagination, mr. Vulcan.

Something you may have buried in your Websters Dictionary... So what is a Vulcan doing with a idiom book?

Attempting to do away with bad grammar and such. I, myself, endeavor to use proper English and grammar. I also endeavor to properly spell words, hence, your so-called idiom book.

BTW, the above text, in green, is an idiom. >:-)

He got it mixed up with Blazing Saddles.

No he doesn't. See the Film Trivia at the bottom and swallow your letters. ;)

No Neo. :)

I started it off on MURC a long time ago:
1 virus, 2 virii.
1 forum, 2 fori.

Heck, why should we follow the true Latin these days, when text messaging is taking over the world?

Where are you coming up with these non-existant words.

vi-rus (vi'res) n., pl. -ruses. ....

Once again, "virii" does not appear in my 1920 page Websters Dictionary.
