Bourbon and ginger is my FAVORITE drink!!!
and since I am also a diabetic I use Diet ginger-ale.

I admit to being curious about the aforementioned alcholic equivalent of a mugging, but, I usually frequent a pub that has Strongbow cider on tap. That's my absolute favourite. If I can't get that, I have a bottle of local B.C. cider, such as Grower's or Okanagan. There's also a nice microcider or two from here, such as Merridale's on the Island or another from Kelowna whose name I forget now.

As for mixed drinks, I'm usually partial to a simple Rye and Ginger Ale. But then there are my favourite shooters. I was partial to Gladiators for quite a while. (1/2 oz. each of Amaretto and Southern Comfort in a shot glass, 1/4 of a Collins glass each of Ornage Juice and 7-Up. Drop in shot glass and chug.) but then I found this beauty: 1/3 oz. each of Tia Maria, Drambuie and amber rum. It's called a Battlestar Galactica.
