The one yesterday was started by a train and spread the fire eight miles....

Todays was started by a bulldozer i.5 miles off the beaten path 20miles away...

We've recently had a couple of brush fires at the Cross Is. Pkwy./L.I.E. interchange and down by the Belt Pkwy.. The weird thing is that they were both under 100 ft. away from the L. I. Sound and Jamaica By. (respectively).

Considering all the snow and drizzle that came down not so long ago, I'm wondering just how parched can the ground be.

Kid starts fire and go back into the house...
Father goes outside to check on son and One building is fully
engulfed in flames and another one is about to go!
