Hunting is always fought, but more often than most will admit, it is the only feasible solution. Ignore that it is a "pet" animal, this could just as easily be be rats, opossum, or any other nuisance animal. Cats are every bit as dangerous especially the feral ones. Rabies, is a concern, for both the current situation, and that risk also makes general round-ups (live capture) not the option it would first appear to be. And long term, capture won't help. There simply aren't enough people willing to adopt them. So maybe I'm missing another option (I've got a nasty little cold right now), but I don't see many other options. Still looking for something profound or inspirational to place here. |

I heard about this the other day. Maybe it's a sign of the Apocalypse, one of the plagues. I don't think just out right killing them is the answer.

I just found out about a plan in Wisconsin that would allow the killing of wild cats in that state. But the really bad part about the proposal was that apparently the plan will also allow the killing of stray cats and even cats that are household pets! If I was cat in Wisconson, I'd be looking for a bulletproof vest right now. I wonder what people have to say about this outrage. Check it out! |
