I wondering, is there going to be a BOINC version for 10.2.8? If not how about telling us so we can either download and compile for ourselves or finding other projects to run. I would prefer to run SETI on my Mac especially since I have been running Classic SETI for several years now and believe in the project. SO HOW ABOUT SOME NEWS!!!!!

Take a look at my last post.

It's not a Berkeley official release but it works well and
fast too. You should give it a try. I am currently running
it.

Last I heard, the BOINC Dev team was still trying to iron out the problems with running on Jaguar. In the interim, some third party groups like Team MacNN are creating "special compiles" that will run on Jaguar.

I believe the goal of BOINC dev is to have a single client that will run on Jaguar and Panther, but currently the other "growing pains" have taken priority, as development resources are limited.

In the meantime, please consider trying the Team MacNN compile at:

If you have the skills to compile your own, you may want to do that.

The best Macintosh team ever assembled.
