I'm using linux and the same happens... my server only has 64mb, but since it is used just to crunch SETI and connecting to the internet it was far than enough with that ram ammount. I hope they will decrease the ram amount to be able to continue crunching!

The amount reported by the OS in Wintel based systems doesn't count the memory allocated below the 1M line. So you "lose" like 512K to 768K RAM. More if your graphics card is internal and grabs its memory from system RAM.

Too bad the WU's don't account for this and use a minimum memory size of 63M.

The minimum memory has been raised to 64mb (was 32mb). This is the amount reported by the OS so most systems that are nominally 64mb will not have enough memory.

I'm using BOINC several months now, but since a week or two I don't get any workunits on my old P75 computers, because of lack of memory.

It used to be no problem, have the minimum requirements changed or something ?
