It's very warm for the season (45.4 Â°F / 7.4 Â°C ), and plants think it's spring so they have started to grow and set leaves as buds. The worst is what I heard in the news that some swans have got eggs and they are hatching. I don't care about the plants when the frost comes because they will freeze down and come back later, but the little swanlings (???) will die, they can't survive in the frost. :-( There was a heavy storm last night and lots and lots of rain, and just before there was a rain whiteout here.
