There was almost no snow at all in Karstula (in Central Finland). It was weird to watch fireworks. It was warm (above 0 degrees Celsius). Totally strange New Year Eve!!

It's weird here too. It's very warm for the season (45.4 °F / 7.4 °C ), and plants think it's spring so they have started to grow and set leaves as buds. The worst is what I heard in the news that some swans have got eggs and they are hatching. I don't care about the plants when the frost comes because they will freeze down and come back later, but the little swanlings (???) will die, they can't survive in the frost. :-(

There was a heavy storm last night and lots and lots of rain, and just before there was a rain whiteout here.

It's freezing cold here...wet...vile & horrible.

Wake me up when summer comes.

Oh & there hasn't been a decent clear sky for months!! One totally useless 'scope for sale!

Foggy, wet and only 5°C - no very comfortable for street carnival and Shrove Tuesday processions, but there will be enough glogg stands be available for warming up :-)

Weather or whether not to post?

The sky is grey.

The rain will come.

Before it does I must get my washing off the line.

The place is Tunbridge Wells in Kent, United Kingdom.

Am I making sense? Probably not!!!!!

I don't know about London, but here in the NW of England the Winter was very mild with the result that many plants flowered quite a few weeks earlier than normal.

But yes, we do have our fair share of wet and windy weather. :o)
