Fill in what you like. All the emotions you might have, get them off your chest here.

For me right now:

Meg Ryan & Nicholas Cage video

Lyrics:

Maybe this is forever
Forever fades away
Like a rocket ascending into space
Could you not be sad
Could you not break down
After all I won't let go o

[CHORUS:]
Until you're safe and sound
Until you're safe and sound

There's beauty in release
There's no one left to please
But you and me o I don't blame you for quitting
I know you really try
If only you could hang on through the night
I don't want to be lonely
I don't want to be scared
All our friends are waiting there

[CHORUS]

Feel like I could've held on
Feel like I could've let go
Feel like I could've helped you
Feel like I could've changed you
Feel like I could've held you
Feel like I could've hurt you
Feel like I was a stranger
Feel like I was an angel
Feel like I was a hero
Feel like I was a zero
Feel like I could have changed you
Feel like I could have healed you
Feel like I could have saved you
Feel like I should've heard you
Feel like I could have moved you
Feel like I could have changed you
Feel like I could have healed you
Feel like I should've told you
Feel like I could have loved you
Feel like I could have loved you
Feel like I could have loved you
Feel like I really loved you
Feel like I really loved you
Feel like I really loved you
Feel like I really loved you
Feel like I really loved you
Feel like I really loved you
Feel like I could've saved you
Feel like I could've saved you
Feel like I could've saved you.

Moby makes me feel chilled out, larger than life and suicidal all at
the same time. A bit like Radiohead.

You're wellcome, it's one of my favorite movies too.

I just have a hard time watching it, because I can't help thinking of poor Brandon Lee's tragedy.

Brandon is very sexy in that movie, but am I the only one that think that Michael Wincot also is incredibly sexy?

Fuzzy...thanks :).. I love the Cash version of Hurt. The video is so sad & quiet....like he knew that his would be his last one & wanted make his peace. It's heartbreaking when these people have to leave us....Johnny....Brandon....the people we love. Especially if it is not their time & they are not ready to go.

LOL!....you'll need to rename this the 'Misery Thread' now that I've trolled it with really sad stuff!!! :)

Here's another one....

Seether ~ Fine again

btw...The Rammstien vid....I love it. Where can I get a translation of the words?

Hey, that's what I created it for, a place to get a good cry.

I'll watch the Sether vid tomorrow, I really like him (them?) in the first vid you posted.

Rammstein lyrics: http://herzeleid.com/en/lyrics

There are translations also, but some of them are not correct. Rammstein's lyrics are very complex and with a lot of pun's and wordplays, that doesn't translate well. I have found several errors in them, but this site is better than nothing.

The lyrics for Ohne Dich is here: http://herzeleid.com/en/lyrics/reise_reise/ohne_dich

Another example of the complexity of Rammstein's lyrics is Wo Bist Du, notice the wordplay in the beginning:

http://herzeleid.com/en/lyrics/rosenrot/wo_bist_du

A video with the song, not the real video

Wo Bist Du

The sound quality in these video's is so poor, so maybe we should fileshare a bit? ;-D

EDIT: Ok, I just saw the Sether video, and I checked in iTunes, but they don't have anything there of them. :-(

Oh, my f***ing God, now I'm crying my heart out!

I hadn't seen the Johnny Cash Video of Hurt, I just did, and he really brought a new meaning in the song, that Trent Reznor couldn't, as he's a (relatively) young man with a tormented soul.

Johnny summed his life up with this song and video, and I some place feel happy that it became his last video.

See this tribute video they made for him: A tribute to Johhny Cash

And for those who haven't seen the Hurt video, here it is: Johnny Cash: Hurt

That old man looking back on his life where the lyric fits so well. It's heartbreaking in some other way than Trent's feeling of despair but also resentment.

Also Trent said that he cried over the video.

Now we are both crying!! I just watched it again....

I'll send you some Seether....this is one of my favourites

Seether ~ Needles

Personally I quite like this vid....but I picked it because the sound is the clearest & it's one of those tunes where you need to hear the words.

At the end he's saying 'Thank you for killing me'....very apt for the angst you feel in these situations I think...

I'll look into Seether, I did in iTunes and got no results, untill I found out I had spelled it wrong, silly me. :-/

I think you'll like Nine Inch Nails The Frail & The Wretched

This was the best quality I could find, but I'll send them to you as mp3's so you can hear them as they are. Again, I think we should share some files. ;-D

And to make a closure of the song Hurt, Trent is healing and his live performance of this song, which he performed only with a piano at a charity concert for support to the Katrina victims, he seems more redeemed.

Trent Reznor (Nine Inch Nails): Hurt LIVE

He has recovered from his alcohol and drug abuse, and he seems less tormented, angry and resentfull, and on his last album With Teeth, you can even spot some kind of happiness in him.

Nine Inch Nails: Sunspots

So maybe there's hope for all of us? If there is for him then there is for us all.
