To win or not to win, that is the question!!

Let's see if the offer of baked goods is as lucky for someone as it was last time :)

Almost finished baking for a big family gathering tomorrow, affectionately known as "Summer Christmas". Mince pies and ginger cake done, carrot cake in the oven now - take your pick. All guaranteed calorie- and carb-free :-D

Having a quick rest before tackling the stairs, landing and bathroom - what a shame one of the mince pies broke as I tipped it onto the cooling rack ...

I'm almost melting at work today - the perils of working in a mostly glass building which doesn't have aircon and the windows don't open very far (in case we decide to jump) - I'm really not looking forward to tomorrow.

I don't really like the heat, unless I'm on holiday somewhere exotic :-)

Can we bomb the broadcast satellites so we don't have to watch Cleveland the next four days? I don't need heartburn with dinner.

Or perhaps "Is it OK if we all come to yours for a Café SETI get together?"

I can bring cake. Mr Snail, as Bar Manager, could bring the drinks :-D

Welcome back Rob. As you can see, it's all been very quiet in your absence :-)

Mr Snail, I hope you feel better soon. It always seem far worse having a cold in the summer :-(

Almost back to my old self today, first hour of work was a bit of a struggle but after that i was off.

Where you ask?

To the feeling much better land, so much so that I'm confident i could win a boxing match with a kangaroo :)

Thanks :)
