The kids have a 3-1/2 day weekend (get out at noon). I have a 3 day weekend. Yay!

I expect to spend it like the last couple of weekends, not setting foot out of my house. At least this time it will be because it's cold, whereas the last couple were sunny and I stayed in anyway.

Lucky you!

Sounds like a good reason to stay in although , if it's dry and cold, it is quite nice to get out - gives you that nice rosy cheek feeling - just need to make sure you have the makings for hot chocolate when you get home :-)

I hope that's American pants, not British pants?! No, on second thoughts, please don't answer ;-) TMI

Hope you remember to alternate arms so you don't end up with a one-sided beercep :-)

Today was pretty sunny, but I stayed in. I really could have tolerated the cold, but the shoulder belt in my car has been absolutely killing my shoulder lately and I want to give it a rest.

1-3" of snow predicted for tomorrow, powdery stuff that will blow around a lot. Good reason to stay off the roads.

That's just mean, it's 40F here - although I think I would rather be cold and able to put on more layers than too hot.

No, that is why a dump of a place to live here costs double a mansion where you are.
