On the one hand, I certainly enjoy the extra daylight after work. On the other hand, I don't like going home from work in the dark in the winter. The Cafe is the only bit of beta where you do need RAC to post ;) The reasoning is, that if it doesn't work, then you don't have RAC and then you coulnd't give feedback. So, beta doesn't need RAC for tech posts. On Main, the Q&A board takes care of those - and also gets the occasional spammer.
