I didn't know where to ask this question so here it lands ...

Is there a known incompatibility between the standard AP distribution and the v0.41 optimized version??

I was running fine while I was running the v0.41 code on my NV 560 TI AND my NV 9500 GT.

Just for fun I loaded the standard distribution onto the NV 9500 GT.

What I got the computer crashing regularly about every 3 Hrs.

I guessed it was some kind of CPU overtemp problem so I stopped the CPU's from running any MB v7 ... but the crashing continued.

I reinstalled the opt AP V0.41 on the NV 9500 GT and the crashing went away.

my configuration is:
Win 7 64bit
Intel core 7 860 2.8Gh
32 Gb mem

1 NV 560 TI (448 core) (slot 0)
1 NV 9500GT (slot 1)

MB V7 running on cpu's 0,2,4,6
AP V6 running on GPU slot 0 CPU support from 1,3,5,7
AP V6 running on GPU slot 1 CPU support from 0,2,4,6

Is there a known incompatibility between std dist AP V6 and OPT AP V6 if they are running on different GPU cards?
