A Compilation of Sing-Along, Folk, & Rock Guitar Songs
(with chords and lyrics)

Background: My mom has been transcribing and collecting songs for her guitar longer than I've been around. In recent years, I've started adding to these my own transcriptions of songs I enjoy. To me, many of these songs mean something about being a kid, singing with my mom, and being home with my family. Now, with a little one on the way, I am hoping to pass the same songs on to another generation.
If you would like to learn more about Sarah and me (and our forthcoming addition), feel free to peruse my website

If you find an error, would like for me to research a song (I can't guarantee I'll get to it, but I'll try), or would just like to say something about the site (questions, comments, suggestions), please visit my Guest Book.

Some of the songs I have transcribed use a slightly nonstandard notation convention, whereby 'somewhat' I mean to say that I invented it and am surely the only person who uses it. So you could complain, or you could read about it and understand my brilliance ;)

If you are a data-nut like me, you might appreciate this page I made for viewing the popularity of the site and various songs (it takes a sec to load).

For your convenience, there are versions of this page with songs ordered by title and by artist.
