My name is Sergio Casana, I am from Uruguay(south america) but I live and work in Italy.
I was born in Montevideo(Uruguay) on 20th september 1978 and as many of my generation I was introduced to science and astronomy by a famous TV show named COSMOS where professor CARL SAGAN showed an incredible way to explain the universe to those who were still small or that didn't had a scientific background.
Through the teachings of Professor SAGAN I came to know about SETI program and its goals.
In the same way he did I believe we are not alone and it took me to the serch for the way of give my contribution to SETI program.
I work as a aviation technician being my field the helicopters maintenance since 1996.
My hobbies are just few, I like to play guitar and astronimcal observation.
Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home
1- In order to give a valid contribution to such an important research.
2- The project is for me a demostration of consciousness and faith and have no doubt it will give the expected results.
3- Just thanks for let me be a part of the project as member of the man kind that think, believe and look for the truth.
