Personal background
I retired in 1998 after 22 years in the Air Force. I was a B52 crew chief for the first four years. Most of my time was spent in the Command Post as a controller. Some of the bases I had been stationed at include Loring, Langley, Ellsworth, Bitburg as well as MUNSS sites in Greece, Turkey and Germany. I still miss the people I got to know while I was in, but the pay and hours are much better at my position with CSC.
Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home
I really think we aren't alone. Somewhere out there is another planet orbiting a star not to unlike our own with a bunch of beings thinking the same thing. I'm not really sure we're going to discover ET, I think ET will come find us.
