Personal background
I am currently a software engineering student at Carleton University. I previously graduated from Heritage College with a degree in Electronics Technologies designing, fabricating, and programming electronic circuits, as well as studying network infrastructure and VOIP systems.

I'm motivated by works such as Star Trek for ideas about the future.
Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home
I run SETI@home because I want to help make sure that if there is a voice out there that we don't miss it.

I don't know if this project will ever be successful, but I know that to succeed you must first fail, and to fail you must first try.

I would love to see a bigger more assessable community for this project, maybe something similar to the Bitcoin community, more activity on social media sites like twitter and reddit.
