Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home
I run SETI@home because its a great idea to make use off free computing power
worldwide, in chase of life in the universe. Are there life outthere? i do
belive in that, there billions/trillions of stars, all made of the same
partikels as we now here on earth. recently scientist have discovered Earthlike
planet in orbit around there star, in the goldenlockzone, so add up with a
billion stars in the Milkyway and other galactic clousters, we are not alone.!
The downside are the distances, thousand of lightyears are between us and THEM.
For me SETI is very importent part of exploration of the universe, even that
results have been very thin, the WOW-signal was the SOHO-sattelite.But if SETI
dont surwey or scan the sky, we will never find our sisters and brothers.
