I have worked in the oil patch here in the states for 5 years then went to the North Sea as a derrick hand for 6 years. I started welding in fab shops for a while till I bought my own portable welding rig and went to work in the oil patch till my rig was stolen. I have also worked for Iowa Beef Processors, now I work at Owens Corning Fiberglass. I have always had a interest in space and astronomy and have an associate’s degree in electronics and instrumentation it’s not much but it’s better than nothing. I like to ride my motorcycle and also currently starting to breed east European and west German bloodline German Shepherd dogs.
Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home
b]I have always wanted to study the stars and learn more about them, and have always hoped that we were/are not the only intelligent living creatures in the universe cause if we are we are an awful poor example of intelligent life.
The project is a intriguing and it gives us a chance to answer many questions, yet I am kind of like Stephen Hawkins in the belief that an alien life form may not be peaceful. Who knows for sure?[/b]
