Profile: Cory Young

Personal background
My name is Cory. I was born 05/1987 making me 26 years of age. My hobbies include doing research into electronics and i love learning all i can on Quantum Physics. I'm very much a philosopher and though religion/spiritualism is hardly of importance i find that i'm a Philosophic Spiritual Dualist (quite the mouthful i know). I only have a high school education and while that is regrettable i'm okay with it. I could careless about the degrees as long as i am still free to keep learning on my own. I love Quotes and have a great many committed to memory. I also love to debate (not argue) i find that is the best way to expand a persons true wisdom as long as you can go without dismissing anyone's truth as possibly true. lets face it. what do we truly know? very little it seems. science is proven then 100-500 yrs later we find we messed up. what we believe to be true now, may be completely wrong in later generations! :) I also enjoy billiards and wood carving and other forms of sculpture. that's me in a nutshell. Afraid i'm not much of a conversationalist unless it has to do with actually using your brain lol! i will leave gossip to the folks. Thank you anyone who takes the time to read this, you have my appreciation.
Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home
I believe that SETI is providing a great service to the human people. Though it is going slow and to be expected IMO, i also believe that it will pay off. I imagine the universe and IF we were the only sentient beings in such magnitude of possibilities than i would consider that to be the greatest of all disappointments. "If were alone in the Universe than that's an awful waste of space."
