Personal background
I'm a 27 year old single male from a suburb of Chicago (IL).

I am a consultant (technician), for a computer networking firm. We handle Novell, Microsoft, Apple, and Linux/Unix networks, and anything you can possibly connect to them. We have hospitals, machine shops, police and fire depts... you name it, we have clients from all walks of life.

As for me, I don't think my work defines me. I just went back to school to try and get into med school.

My hobbies are Trains, Films, Computers (when I don't want to shoot them), and Reading (Sci-Fi, Biographies, Non-fiction)

Favorite Sci-fi is Star Wars and Babylon 5. Everyone knows Star Wars, but B5 is one of the greatest stories I've ever seen, It just encompasses 5 seasons, so it takes a while to view. If you see one episode, it doesn't always make sense because it is part of a long story.
Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home
I hope extraterrestrial life exists. I sometimes feel we humans are two self centered, and that we are a dumb breed. I really hope there is other life out there to enlighten the amazing possibilities of the human race. We have wonderful potential as a species.

Just for the record I do believe in God, and I believe we can't be the only intelligent life in this huge wonderful universe.
