| I am from Clinton, IA originally. I am 44 as of April 2013. Hobbies include 3D CAD and animation. Built my own 10" reflector telescope when I was about 12. Studied astronomy for many years. Decades long NASCAR fan. Try to enjoy every day as much as I can. My first computer was a TRS-80 from RadioShack. Have been hooked ever since. |
| Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home |

| I just heard about this SETI@Home project on the science channel yesterday. Decided right then I wanted to join in. After studying the sky with my 10" reflector for so many years, I know what is suppose to be in the sky. After 2 unmistakable experiences I had years ago observing lights in the sky over Iowa and Texas, I have no doubt in the existence of life elsewhere. We just need hardcore proof. I always wanted to build a radio telescope to accompany my 10" reflector, but just never did it. Now I can participate with this program. Awesome! |
