Hey, I am a 27 year old male from Johannesburg South Africa, I am currently working in the IT industry, my hobbies include Motor Racing, Body building, and spending time with my friends.

| Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home |

I know Life exsists in the universe but i believe its alot closer than we think. There are to many sightings and unexplained happenings going on in right here on our own planet, than far away.
In this vast system of galaxies and stars and planets, i have no doubt in my mind that with all that is out there we are not alone.
Its not a case of if we ever find life out there, its a case of when. When we are ready, it will be shown to us.
I think SETI is the way to go, i am only sorry that we on this planet would rather fight amongst ourselves than join together as one and move forwards.
Currently we are willing to wipe out all we have achieved to satisfy our own immediate goals than to rather focus on the planet and its people as a whole.
Hopefully in my lifetime we will be enlightened, but i know that what we are doing here will pave the way for our future generations. As our technology continues to do greater things, so will it help this program analyse and submit its findings quicker.
